I cannot tell you how happy this photo makes this year, because I do not even need to look at it. I am so grateful for my family and friends who have stepped up to host this holiday for me. I am also grateful for the support of my husband and kids, who have embraced the idea of hosting a holiday dinner all on their own.
So I guess you could say I’m a Christmas Baby. I mean, I am, but I’m not the only one. For the last decade or so I’ve been hosting a lot of holiday dinners for my family on our own. Now, as I’m the only kid in our family (my mom is the only one who can cook) it’s great to have someone else do all the cooking and dishes.
I can see how it might seem like Christmas is the most boring time of the year, but I think it is the most fun and I think we all have fun when we do the cooking for our families. For me, Im not just a “Christmas Baby” because I am a huge fan of the holidays. I love the holidays because I love the food, the traditions, and sharing a meal with my family.
Well I think I might have to agree with you there. I think it is the most fun and I think it is a great idea. I think it is great because Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and our family has lots of traditions that we love to do.
I think it is also because it is a time when we can get away from the family stuff and just enjoy the wonderful food. For example… I am a big fan of eggnog. It has been around forever, and in my family it is an easy way to get together and celebrate the important things in life. I love Christmas but I also think eggnog is a great way to get together after a long day of fun and family activities.
For the last several months, my family has been getting together to eat yankee candle in a home in California. This means that we can have a big pot of yankee candle coffee and have all the holiday treats and decorations from the holiday table. It has been a real treat to have everyone together to enjoy the Christmas spirit. It is also a great time to have family get together, too. One of my favorite things to do is to have a family Christmas dinner together.
For those of you not in the know, yankee candle is a sort of yin-yang-esque Christmas tree that looks like a Christmas tree with a candle inside, that is lit on the third day of Christmas. It is said that the third day is the day that Jesus will ascend to the skies, and he will bring the light of the world to the world below. So the third day is a day of the week that is in alignment with Christ’s birth.
I don’t know about you, but the holidays are a time of abundance. So when I hear that yankee candle wants to give me some gift on the 4th, I am not disappointed. They are offering me a yankee candle home for the holidays and I am going to take it to the place that I’ve always wanted to live.
Yup, yankee candle home for the holidays. I am going to live in that house and be the yankee candle. I am going to cook dinner there, we are going to have a big family party, and I am going to be the center of attention for all of it.
I know that I am going to have a ton of stuff to wrap and gift wrap this year for my dad, who has a birthday in about a week. Not to mention the fact that he is going to be in town this weekend for the holidays. But this is a really cool gift and I can’t wait to open it.
