It seems that we are constantly renovating ourselves, our homes, our lives. We have to be intentional about what we are doing, how we are doing it, and how we are going to get there.
Of course, you have to know that the process is rarely easy. It isn’t about finding a designer who is a perfectionist, it isn’t about finding a friend or family member who is willing to help you, it is simply about doing your best to do what you want to do. You have to be willing to put in the work, to put in the time and effort.
As I mentioned, this renovation is not about the “perfection” of a home. It is about the process of creating a home for ourselves. It is about what we are willing to do to create a home that is beautiful and harmonious, that is functional and productive.
