It’s not a pretty sight, but there is something comforting in a moving company business card. They always have the best of intentions. They’re trying to help you out, and their “we’re a family-owned and operated moving company” is a nice touch. But it’s also a bit misleading.
Moving company business cards are a little misleading because they have the image of an actual moving company logo. So theyre just marketing material. Theyre not really helping you out.

This is actually a great point. The problem here is that the logo is usually the face of a company, and that face is typically generic, and the logo also has a generic name. When you get a bunch of generic business cards and put them all in the same envelope or box, you get a bunch of generic cards. The problem here is that the generic name of the company is pretty generic.
So you can have a business with a generic name, but the generic face is pretty generic, as well. The problem here is that when you add a generic face and a generic name to a generic card, you just end up with a bunch of generic cards. This makes it hard to really tell what the company is, or what it does.
My sister-in-law has a company called the Moving Company. I think it’s pretty generic in the best way, but it’s a bit generic in the worst way. So you can add a generic name, a generic face, and a generic business card to a generic envelope, but the generic name and generic face are pretty generic and generic. The problem is that when you add a generic face and a generic name to a generic card, you end up with a bunch of generic cards.
A company is a business. It is not a generic business. My sister-in-law’s company has a generic name, a generic face, and a generic business card. Add generic name and generic face to a generic envelope, and you have a bunch of generic cards that need to be broken up into many different cards.
I know that’s a lot to say for one simple post, but I think it’s important that we try to do things that are as specific as possible.
