But I feel like it is a little easier to just paint the wall. It’s also probably not as important to make sure the paint is fully dry before you start. You can’t really use a hot glue gun. If you decide to paint the wall, you should use a paint brush.
I actually like how you were able to use hot glue. I like that you could reuse the brush. I also like that its easy to make a large area of walls look good. The downside is that the top of the wall is going to be thinner than you would normally paint it, and you’re going to have to add some paint underneath, so you’ll have to apply some paint underneath. That can be a pain if you have a lot of little details around the edges.
A good way to deal with this is to use wallpaper paste. You can spray wallpaper paste on the wall or you can use a stencil. Either way it should be made up of several different colors. The stencils are a lot easier to make than the wallpaper paste, and you can use a stencil on multiple colors because the paste stuff comes in different colors.
Because wallpaper paste is a cheap, easy DIY way to make a wall art, you are better off using stencils for all of the more delicate details. You can find stencils at the hardware store, art supply store, or at Home Depot. In my own experience I have found stencils to be easier to work with than wallpaper paste.
