Fish as a food source is pretty straightforward, but transferring the fish from the cooler to the refrigerator? Not so much. We know that when we put fish into a cooler, our bodies heat up dramatically, especially if we have frozen food, so the cold will kill it. But transferring the fish from the cooler to the fridge, well, that’s a little more complicated.
Sure, transferring the fish from the cooler to the fridge might help, but it won’t save us from the cold. Our bodies will heat the fish up, and the cold air will kill it. The fish is a food source, not a refrigeration unit.
Transferring the fish into a cooler would be just as bad, not just because it would kill our fish, but because the fish is not a food source. Its a food source for another person. So when we put the fish into a cooler, another person is eating it. And that person is going to be sick. We need to somehow get this fish to the refrigerator, and there are basically two ways to do that. One is to heat the water, which will kill the fish.
The other way is to put the fish on a plate and feed it to someone else, who is going to have a bad day. But we’re not just talking about people who are sick. We’re talking about people who are going to kill themselves. We are talking about people that are so in need of a fish that they turn into something that is killing them.
Fish are very intelligent animals, so this probably isn’t the way to do it. But the fact that there are two ways to do it still says a lot. And it says something else too. If you can’t tell the difference between a fish and an elephant, then you probably really are too stupid to kill yourself.
You’re probably right. I’m probably going to go with the elephant idea, though I don’t know what I’d do with a fish.
We know for sure that the fish thing isn’t the way of the universe, but it makes a good point about human stupidity. We can go in such ways to kill ourselves because we are stupid, too. But we know that there is a way out, and it will take a very special person to do it. The fact that there are two ways to do it says a lot about who that person is.
We don’t know who or what that special person might be, but we don’t think that is a bad thing. If we believe that the fish are trapped on a ship full of other fish, then they are probably just another group of fish. They are probably just one of the more intelligent fish in the sea, so we can’t do much to stop them if they are smart enough to get off the ship in the first place.
The only problem is that the fish are probably smart enough to figure out that their ship is full of other fish! We dont think that is a big deal. We think if they are smart enough to figure that out, then they are smart enough to figure out that their ship is full of other fish. This is a big, big can of worms that we will probably never solve.
