Well, we are in Ohio, a state about half as far from California as California is from Ohio. That means we are one of those two states where about 5% of residents are located in California.

Cali is a great place to live. Its in the middle of the nation, near major cities, and in the middle of the country. You are literally a couple hours from Boston and San Francisco, or Chicago and New York. If you need to go somewhere for work, you can get there in less than a week, depending on traffic. I could go on about how great the weather is there, the amazing beaches, etc, but that’s for another post.
For now, I’ll focus on just two areas that are probably most familiar to you. I live in California and I live in Ohio, so I’ll focus on the first one first. The other is probably a little less familiar to you. Basically, you can go anywhere in California for a week, depending on traffic. Like I mentioned before, you can get to New York in a day with traffic.
Ok, so you’re probably wondering, what is that like? Well, I’ve actually taken a trip to Ohio and I have to say that it’s pretty cool. I’ve got a great group of friends, and it’s really nice to be able to see them all every Sunday night. The weather is great too. It’s sunny all the time and there are tons of great beaches all over the place.
The weather in Ohio, and in any of the other great travel destinations, is something to be marveled at. The sun shines all day long, but you cant really feel it. It’s sort of like a drug, a sort of “high” that you have by the time you get to the next town.
