You may be surprised to learn that if you want to turn your home into your own personal “art gallery,” it’s not enough to just decorate it. But rather than just painting and decorating, take the time to create a space in your home that reflects your personality, which in turn will reflect the way you see the world.
There are many ways to make your home a personal gallery: Paint a painting, hang a painting, decorate a room, create a home library, and take a walk outside and look at the view. Whether you want to paint your own pictures or use wallpaper, you can do it in just about any way you like, and the more you look, the more you’ll find. Once you decide what you want to do, you need to decide where to put it.
Many times when painting a room, you can paint over the wall you want to paint on, or use a wall that already has paint on it. Another way to add color is by painting furniture or other items and then painting the whole room. When you paint a room you can also use furniture and the wall it is on as a backdrop.
I recently did some custom wall painting in my living room. I used this blog to help me choose colors and styles.
Here are some of the design quotes I used to decorate my living room. If you want to get a little creative and decorate your own space, here are a few ideas.

If I was painting a living room, I definitely would use something like the blog posts for ideas when decorating, but really, the wall color choices that you get will depend on the colors you already have in your home. If you are going to paint a living room, I would think that you would want a neutral color palette so that it doesn’t clash with anything else in the room, and a warm color palette so that it doesn’t feel cold.
