I’m not a shower caddy person, yet I had to include this shower caddy when I was asked to make one for a friend. The caddy is basically a big cedar box that fits over many showers and is designed to hold my large wading pool and other assorted supplies. The caddy is made from 4oz. solid pine and is about 10 inches tall. The caddy is designed to hold about 3 gallons of water.
I think the caddy is fantastic and I can’t wait to use it. I use it for so many things that I can’t even count them all. But even though it’s all pretty small, I think it’s fantastic that it can hold so much water. I know that, in general, most of my showering is done in the shower itself and so that kind of makes sense.
I have two large tubs in my basement, one being a big rectangular tub about 10 ft. long and another being about 8 ft. long. I have a large double-wide shower that is about 15 ft. long. Because they all have so much water, there are no more shower curtains to be found. It’s hard to imagine how much water it takes to fill all of these. I can only imagine how much water it could take to fill a tub like that.
I have two showers in my house, one being a medium size shower with a tub and another being a smaller rectangular shower with a tub. The tubs are about 2 ft. or so. Both are covered in a layer of plastic film over rubber. My shower is about 8 ft. long, which seems long for a shower.
The shower has a few more features than a tub. Its also a lot more expensive. The tub is about the same size as my shower. The tub is 10 ft long and would still have to be 10 ft long in order to fully water a tub. The shower is only about 3 ft long. So it would require a couple extra steps to get the water in it after all.
I think what I’m getting at is that the shower needs to be a bit more substantial than a tub to work with. The tub would be fine for a shower, but a shower needs to be on the top of the tub, not the bottom. And I don’t think a shower needs to be on the top of a tub in order to water it. The tub will have to be a bit shorter than my shower in order to water it.
There might be a few reasons for this. It might be that the shower needs to be on or over the tub in order for the water to exit the tub. But I’m also guessing that most people do NOT do a lot of washing in the shower. Most people just sit on the floor and water from the shower, or they pour the water out of the shower into a sink. And most of those sinks don’t have a shower head in them.
I think people are getting a bit lazy because they dont think they need water just to wash their faces. Its not a “wet face” scenario because you dont wash your face with water. Its more akin to the “water only” scenario. So I can see why people would want a shower caddy for their shower.
A shower caddy is a caddy for a shower. It sits on the side of the shower for easy access and storage. A shower caddy is also a great way to store your toothbrush or hairbrush, or towel, or even a small water bottle. Because once you get the hang of it, you can use it as a “caddy” for your shower.
I’ve seen shower caddies for years. I’ve seen them for $10-$20. I’ve even seen some that are made out of plastic. It’s a great way to store your toothbrush or hairbrush, or towel, or even a small water bottle. Because once you get the hang of it, you can use it as a caddy for your shower.
