In general, I love the idea of combat in a game; it gives you a greater sense of control over your actions. In Deathloop, you can go in with both hands and use a variety of weapons. But when you do that, you have to be careful to watch where you point your weapon at your enemies and not swing it too hard.
Bracing your weapon against a brick wall and firing away at anything that moves is pretty dangerous, but in a game where you can actually see and interact with your enemies, it’s even more dangerous. And it’s even more dangerous if you’re using a weapon that has a lot of recoil. In Deathloop, you actually have to take cover from your enemies, which means you can’t just attack them from a distance and start bashing stuff.
