When you’re at home, don’t you just feel like you’re at work? Or maybe you’re at work, but you’re feeling a little stressed. Maybe you need a nap, and you’re getting ready to go to a meeting. Maybe you’ve been up super late and you’re not feeling well.
Thats absolutely correct. Its all good. When we want to relax, we tend to think of work activities as being the best activities. When we want to relax, we tend to think of things that are relaxing.
I think the problem is that the word “relaxing” is often used in a positive way. In the book and my blog, I talk about the negative connotation that the word “relaxing” has when it is used in a negative way. And it is a negative connotation. For example, if someone says, “This is the best vacation I’ve had in a long time,” then that person is implying that a vacation is not relaxing.
Well, the truth is that if we say, The best vacation Ive had in a long time, then that person is implying that a vacation is not relaxing. The word relaxing is often used in a positive way, but it is used in a negative way. So I’m not saying that relaxing is bad. I’m saying that relaxing is something. It is not a bad thing. It is something we need to do in order to relax.
Relaxing is not necessarily a bad thing, but a bad thing at the moment is when we are not relaxing. Relaxation is what allows us to stay in our bodies for long periods of time, to allow our bodies to heal, to allow our minds to rest, to allow our bodies to recover from stress. It is also what allows us to focus on the tasks of our lives and not worry about the things that don’t matter. That is why we need to take care of ourselves.
As the saying goes, “A man has his work cut out for himself.” But it’s not “work” that we have to worry about. It is “work.” We have jobs to do. We have bosses to please. We have customers to please. We have to do our jobs, and if they dont look that way, then we’ll have to make our jobs look that way, too.
Our jobs and bosses can be difficult. They can be very demanding. They can also be demanding of us, but that’s a different discussion. But when we are stressed about something, we tend to do things that make them unhappy. Stress is a form of mental energy. It is like a fever. When the body is stressed, it goes into a fight-or-flight response. If we are stressed, we put a lot of pressure on our bodies.
Yes, we can be stressed and have low self-esteem. We can also have low self-esteem and be stressed. Stress is a state of mind. When we are stressed, our mind works harder. We tend to be less focused. It makes us more irritable. More anxious. It makes us more difficult to work with. It makes us more paranoid and defensive. It makes us more prone to making careless mistakes. It makes us less tolerant of others. Stress is a mental state.
The stress factor is a real thing. As a matter of fact, it is probably one of the biggest contributors to mental illness. We can all relate to being stressed, but we are probably more likely to have a mental illness if we are stressed. Also, what really helps in the stress department is alcohol, which is associated with a lot of the same problems as stress.
The stress effect can be a problem in many areas of life. You can end up in a lot of trouble when you have a problem, and you can become stressed when you have a problem. One of the problems with the stress effect is that it tends to make people over-reliant on alcohol, which in turn can lead to violence and problems.
